Perfect for Aquaculture and Marine Farming

The Aquafloat Superior and North Sea one-piece constant-wear flotation suits are excellent protective clothing for seaweed aquaculture and marine farming. They are tested according to ISO 15027 Immersion Suit: Class D for two hours of thermal protection in cold water.

Not only available in one-piece suits, both the Aquafloat Superior and the North Sea are also offered in two-piece suits.

The Aquafloat Superior Jacket covers all the general requirements of a demanding end-user. The Aquafloat Superior Trousers are designed to be worn in combination with the jacket for wear as a two-piece suit to meet full approval as a buoyancy aid.

The basic North Sea two-piece suit is ideal for use in the same areas as the one-piece but with the added flexibility and comfort afforded by separate jacket and trousers. This two-piece suit is available as a set.

GARMENT FULLY WATERPROOF

All outer materials on the constant wear suits are waterproof and conform to the standard EN 343. All seams on the suits are taped and 100% waterproof. The pocket flaps are fully water repellent and the storm flap which covers the front zipper provides effective waterproofing of the suit/jacket.

INHERENT BUOYANCY & THERMAL PROTECTION

The buoyancy of the flotation garment is created by a closed cell foam. Mullion suits have an inherent actual buoyancy varying from a minimum of 50N to 100N.

The suits provide a degree of thermal protection against cold water shock and delay hypothermia upon immersion.

ANTI-FLUSHING STRAPS

The suits are designed with anti-flushing straps to arms and legs. These can be used upon immersion. After falling in the water the anti-flushing straps can be tightened so the water in the suit can be warmed up by the body temperature of the wearer which will delay hypothermia.

MARINE GRADE WHISTLE

The Marine grade ISO 12402 approved whistle is attached to the suit and can be used in immersion situations to alert rescue teams. The whistle is positioned in the optimum position and placed for ease of access.
